Oddly, it feels longer ago than that to me. Wild. Covid really skewed so many timelines for me.

Was at the airport in San Diego when I heard the news. Got somewhat emotional which was confusing not being a huge Kobe fan. Although appreciated his work ethic and dedication to his sport and his family.

Kobe was buried at Corona del Mar Cemetery!

Is that where some peaceful protesters were lead into capital by Government Agents?

I’d take him over Lebron.

I meant in the context that George Floyd was like 3 months later, then riots, then COVID, then election and J6 and aftermath.

Kobes death was the last time that 95% of Americans agreed on something of significance and reacted together in a unified fashion.

And honestly, even though it was only 4 years ago, Kobe's death feels like it was so much longer ago than everything else you mentioned.

RIP to the Mamba. Just seems like longer, probably due to Covid being this break in time for many of us.

Personally knew the guy that opened the workout facility for him every day at 3am, it’s been much documented with the dream team and such but the guy had a work ethic second to none.

Was on the way to the gym. Wife called me and said she heard something she hoped was not true, we both followed the news from that moment. When I got to the gym, most people were glued to the tvs. I remember all the details and I was not a fan. But in retrospect, I should have been.

This is still difficult to accept. Makes you realize how human all of us are.

I hope his family is doing okay. RIP.

Those interviews with Jerry West and Shaq impacted any fan. That was tough seeing people close to him so heart broken.

Can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve cried as a grown man.

That was one. Such a weird, shocking day. Don’t have kids yet but the daughter thing really shook me.
