Please explain how EITHER of these qualify as the best person from the primary?
Edwards would have won the Democrat closed primary but Duke would not have advanced out of a Republican closed primary. Buddy Roemer or Clyde Hollaway would have defeated Edwards. David Duke was the only path for the Edwards victory--There was a reason for the campaign slogan: "Elect the Crook, it's important"
