Anyone following Matt Cubbler’s scorched earth campaign on SOFs

Primarily against the SEAL teams for their corruption and out of control lack of honor?
He’s pretty much ruined what was left of Rob O’Neil’s reputation for his stolen valor.
He’s lambasting “Hero’s” like Jacko Willink, and Chris Kyle as murderious psychopaths. Marcus Lettrel as basically cowardly and abandoned his team on the hillside in Operation Red Wing.
The coverups of Robert’s Ridge, the fabrication of the Lone Survivor story, the murder of Seal Team 4 commander Job Price, the murder of Green Beret Logan Melgar.
Sorry can’t attach a link for some reason but he’s on YouTube on various channels. Well worth diving into. And very disturbing to say the least.

I question influencers trashing other influencers.
That said, the DEVGRU stuff in general isn’t new of course. And you can find plenty of interviews of Rob’s teammates who basically condemn him through silence or subtle remarks (which I think is more credible than the dudes with splashy titles about so and so being exposed,etc.)

I would advise taking most of what Cubbler says with a huge grain of salt.
He throws a lot of shite against the wall without real sources.
SEALs in the public eye are a bunch of ego-driven guys, don't get me wrong, but claiming Marcus Lutrell abandoned his team because Axe may have had a pulse left as they were all out manned and out gunned, sliding down a mountainside while fighting for their lives is bullshite.
I am not sure if he is the one claiming/pointing out Chris Kyle wasn't a good guy (he wasn't and did put hands on Taya multiple times) but he was;t some homicidal body stacker either. At least no more than any other effective sniper.
Robert's Ridge was less of a cover-up and more of a cover their asses. Chapman was left exposed, still fighting while the SEALs hunkered down, however, it may have been the fog of war, not some grand conspiracy.
Accidental deaths happen in the community, they aren't automatically murder and they are all so heavily investigated getting away with anything is damn near impossible.

The SEAL mafia's attempt to scuttle Chapman's MoH nomination was bullshite though. Fortunately it didn't succeed.
ETA and God forbid we ever need somebody to perform the UDT function because the SEALs are too busy running around on land to train for it. Maybe the EOD dudes can take it on.

The Roberts Ridge one was interesting because basically the navy demanded that if Chapman got a medal, then Britt K. Slabinski should get one as well. Even though it’s rumored that Slab ordered the retreat to leave Chapman.

As a former combat arms officer I worked with a large number of SOF units. I will say I have the utmost respect for them all but the SEALs. However, I don’t think half of what is posted by the OP is 100% accurate.

I think till it’s worth looking deeper into these events and stories not just what the government says about them
Cause a lot of times the government isn’t hones about it. See Pat Tillman and Jessica Lynch for starters.
And who says he doesn’t have sources? I’ve seen several corroborating interviews all telling the same story.
Also. He’s not an influencer has not a channels and isn’t writing a book. As of now.

Yea get the frick out of here with this shite. These dudes are fighting some of the most evil people and forces in the world. The moment you handcuff them will be putting the dagger in our military.

No one should ever "take the government's word" ever. The government straight up lies.
I do look into a lot of these things and have first-hand sources on a lot of what he is claiming. People who were there types, its mostly BS and bad blood.
I was at a range yesterday for 7 hours with no fewer than 6 current or former tier 1 operators. We didn't discuss any of this yesterday but we have had discussions in the past about some of the vents and about Cubbler in particular.
Keep in mind, Cubbler is a former LEO and I think current air marshall, he has never kitted up on an operation and doesn't have any experience in an actual battleship.
For those who are calling the Chapman incidence BS on the SEALs you are 100% correct. As someone who earned the scarlet beret it hit home hard.

Also keep in mind he’s never claimed to have don’t that and almost always begins his intros with the fact that he is nothing special in his military LEO an Air Marshal careers. He’s simply an investigator. His mission is to discover the killer of his friend commander Price. It was only after beginning this investigation at the bequest of commander Prices family did he begin receiving coms from former and current members about all the other stories. He makes clear his only objective is to make enough noise and be a big enough pain the arse to get to the truth about Job Prices “suicide”.
