I would want to keep LeBron, but there's no way the Lakers should waste ANY of their draft capital on his son. He deserves a G league tryout at best.

His kid needs to go back to school. I could see him developing into a decent 2 or 3 year type prospect under a coach like Musselman but it seems obvious he’s not ready for even the G League at this point

If I had to bet, it would be that Lebron will be back with the Lakers again and Bronny will be on the roster. This seems like a move to force the Lakers hand.

Plus if he opts out he can get an extension with a no-trade clause, He won't have a no-trade clause if he opts in for the final year.

Agreed and I wouldn’t even use a two way on him. Too many teams finding gems after a little g league development nowadays. Bronny would be a complete waste of that opportunity.

I mean if that’s the cost of having LeBron on your roster, it is what it is.
