Just got done w my annual doctor visit. 45, blood work looked great according to Dr. But I told him the last several weeks I've had this flushed feeling in my face and kinda "medicine" headed foggy feeling. His only suggestion was to cut back on coffee and alcohol and see if it makes a difference. I usually drink 2-3 cups per morning and then a couple glasses of wine at night with the wife. He said it could be anxiety or stress. I guess I'm just paranoid I'm gonna stroke out.

Anyone else experience this? Just a normal part of getting older?

I’ve had weird head feelings for a while like slight dizziness that comes and goes, some lethargy, flushed feeling, ringing in the ears. Doctor said it’s sinusitis which is fluid buildup behind the ear drums. It’s a huge nuisance but nothing threatening. Just makes me feel tired and off.

I get it in the winter when I go from hot to cold temperatures several times in a day. My face feels like it’s hot and red and everyone ask if I’m ok.

45 is a bit young for "feeling old"... except for women. Worry about aging after 65. Watch and seem if there is any connection with what you eat or drink. I finally realized that just one or two glasses of red wine left me feeling slightly off all the next day. Vodka not so. Also watch out for mono-sodium glutamate. It is getting added to a lot of spice mixes now. If that is impacting you, the flush feeling should come shortly after meals.
