Over 7,500 since 2019 when all this really got ramped up.

That's actually not all that impressive. It's only about 25%.

The Methodist hierarchy is putting as much financial pressure on larger churches to stay in as they can. They aren't trying to hold onto smaller ones so much.

Even with financial pressure being applied, the percentage disaffiliating should be much higher. Let them keep the property. Go meet in a gym or Elk's lodge or something.
