My career has allowed me to live in 5 different countries outside the US and travel the world. It allowed me to meet my wife which never would have happened otherwise. Pretty cool for a guy who grew up on a farm in SW Louisiana. Now it has allowed me to make this recent move to Europe and I am hoping this is my final stop for my career because we really love it here. The work/life balance is the best I’ve ever had, the stress from the job is minimal and we really feel at home here. 30 days vacation per year plus holidays and all of Europe at our doorstep.
