I mean you could just tank. You don’t have to sign BI to a big deal. They get their own 2025 back in a deep draft. BI technically is an expiring- you could trade him midseason for more assets or let him walk and open up cap space.

Lebron is 39 y/o and he was the best player on the Lakers in that series. AD went soft 2H and scored only 2 in an elimination game.
