Also, the Jews did not kill Jesus. They requested that he be killed; however, it was the gutless Romans who killed him, because the Jews did not have that authority in the day.

Although this true, why did you describe the romans as gutless while the jews demanding He be killed have no such adjective?

There is no singular adjective I could have used to describe the Jews?
- The Jewish leaders were jealous and power hungry, knowing that Jesus was ruining their grift;
- Some Jews thought Jesus was going to be a military leader to overturn the Roman's and were trying to push his hand.
-Some Jews were misled by what they thought were their religious leaders.
-Some Jews had just arrived into Jerusalem, had not received the Good News and fell in with the crowd to call for His death.

Now, from the Bible, we know that both Pontius Pilate and Herod Antipas had the ability to release Jesus, saw no reason to crucify Him, and chose to allow Jesus to be crucified to avoid, what they thought, could be a Jewish uprising if he were not killed, thereby, gutless.

I was not protecting the Jews from criticism; however, their guilt is way more nuanced than that of the two who allegedly controlled Jesus' faith. Allegedly, because we all know it was God's plan, and it was going to happen, regardless.
