Every white lib I know is the complete opposite. They all grew up upper middle class and had everything provided for them. Never had to work for anything and always had mama telling them how special they are. I personally only know one lib that isn't completely arrogant and conceited.
Others I know are either rebelling against their conservative parents or the guys are losers that can't hold on to a job and think everyone else is the problem and not them. A few guys, deep down I don't think really believe in lib causes, but think that being lib will get them laid.

This. The loudest progressives I know are usually the wealthiest. What they're really saying is "I feel bad and we have to do better for the poors/POC/gays/palestinians, I just don't want them in my yard". There is a discernible contempt they have that there are limits to their charity. Help the disenfranchised, just make sure they show up to serve me drinks at my country club on time.
I cannot stand these progressives. They don't really want to help, they just feel guilt and have little to occupy their mind like a "real job".
