didn't see a thread on it but obviously a classic. Watched it last weekend for the first time in probably 10 years and then the George of the Jungle thread got me thinking about it even more.
Such a great movie with great acting, story, setting, and soundtrack. Probably one of Denzels best roles and the whole cast does an excellent job.
I'm sure it's not 100% historically accurate but they handle the race issue about as well as they could. Maybe a little too much "white man angry" but still not preachy.
Got some great one liners too. Just a great flick all the way around.
