He hasn't had a salary that low since his rookie contract. This will probably be his final contract, I'll be surprised if he makes thaylt much less than what's he's making now.

I think he’d take a reduction to $12.5 million if he got it for 3 years. That would secure him financially as his sizable NBA contract. He’s worth the $15 million we paid him though. That’s why I think it’s time to cross that 1st tax line if we get the chance to help the team be better. I like the squad we had this year, the ones staying I would want every one of them working on shooting the 3 this offseason.

Not sure why you got downvoted. Unfortunately, I don't think it matters. Willie basically guaranteed Jonas is gone with his trash lineups. Why would Jonas come back to watch Larry struggle when he can go rack up double-doubles for half the league, who can also give him the MLE?

We had Jonas on a discount this year, but our coach outsmarted himself and wasted a lot of it.
