re: Darius garland or Trae young

It makes sense because he pretty much played on the perimeter his entire life. The Pelicans don't seem to coach these fundamentals since everyone on the team sucks at setting screens and it's been that way Green's entire tenure here....

You always go with the guy opposing teams scheme and game plan to stop. ...
It just means Ingram is much more reasonable to trade for than Trae. Young will require more assets to land....
If you look at his attempts from year to year, it makes sense why his scoring has been limited. This was the first year he's had double digits field goal attempts. I'd more concerned if he shooting it a lot to get his numbers. ...

Her shitty coach tried to box her in and it backfired badly. Her teammates aren't good enough to force Clark into a role. Clark instantly looked better when she started not to give two shits anymore and started to hunt for her shots. ...
No. The answer is to leave him off the table so you don't have to worry about trying to move him. ...
There's no way we take on that contract. ...

He fired Klutch and signed with CAA....

Not really. That's pure opinion. He's not being dumped. He's going to take a damn near star package to land him. The idea that he's some kind of broken player is hilarious....

Trae Young isn't a reclamation project. That is just absurd. If Ingram has value after a season like this, Young will have value. His offense will always be elite. If we fail, that's an indictment of the franchise more than anything else. ...

That's where I'm leaning too. If we're moving on from BI, might as well go all out there a grab the best talent available and say you did everything in your power to upgrade the roster. At the end of the day, if things don't work out, Young will still have value around the league to set up other...
It needed to be brought up as a possibility. you know Willie is dying to put up a Dyson, Suggs, Herb, Zion, and Larry lineup. ...
I would love a package centered around Avdija but there's no way in hell BI would agree to a long term extension with a shite show like Washington. And Washington won't give up assets without one....
Now imagine having both on the floor at the same time trying to space for Zion. See?...

My response isn't really about defending Young but to point out that any move we make for the long term should only have our core in consideration. CJ is a short term guy with two years left on the contact, we should be thinking about the long term rather the short term for a major move like this....
Suggs shot a sub 30% in the playoffs from deep. He still has a lot to prove as a shooter....

He still had 10 assists coming back from injury. Yea he has a poor game by his standards but his passing is the least thing that worries me about him as a player. ...

That's silly. He's one of the best passers in the league. His assists are not random. It's deliberate and there's rhyme and reason to his passes. Not some random arse basketball we play which gets shut down easily in the playoffs....

You ask for Coby, Chicago counters with LaVine....
It'll be a contract year for him so you should expect him to have a really strong year on a different team....
