I wouldn't give much thought to someone with a non-STEM degree from these places (not that MIT has many if any, AFAIK), other than assuming they're extremely intelligent or bonkers rich, if not both. They're likely well-read with bad ideas, by my estimation.
But someone with a STEM degree? That's to be considered very seriously. There was likely exposure to rightthink in some classes, but the meat and potatoes of their studies should be among the best in the world.

A joke? I don’t think so. Yall really gotta stop letting 18-22 year olds views dictate your opinion. You build your entire personality around politics. It’s not even that serious.
Stanford and MIT are the same as they’ve always been. Elite institutions that anyone would be honored to attend.
