re: Speed Queen washers

Curious why everyone is picking the TC over the TR?

The differences I came up with a couple years ago when I was searching:

1. TC agitator spins independently of the tub (It does clean better but very hard on clothes. Delicate womens clothes will breakdown much faster, but great for the hard workin dirty man jeans)
2. TC has "deep fill" (My TR fills all the way too, but maybe only on certain washes?)
3. TC has no lid lock. (bypassed my TR in 5 min)
4. TR has longer warranty
5. TR has bigger motor (0.5hp 2speed vs 1hp variable speed)
6. TR claims faster
7. Those knobs on the TC are NOT mechanical. They still connect to the same board as the TR.

Just curious....either way, cant go wrong with SQ!
