You and I have had this convo before about Valhalla but maybe I'm too used to Bethesda.

Origins (best recent AC) and Odyssey had a good amount of stuff to do while traveling and whatnot, but the Division, Valhalla, Far Cry all seem too big for the amount of content they have.

I don't think they're bad games per se. They're always beautiful, but they always seem lacking.

To me they're consistently a 7 or 8 out of 10. Solid games, not good enough to get big praise, but not bad enough to deserve any real hate.

Not empty, but not as fun as Origins or Odyssey.

I didn't like how every chest was behind a locked door or you had to traverse some elaborate maze. I didn't like how side quests were replaced with those organic event things.
