Who is the guy you're thinking we can trade for that is?

See my post above... I don't think there is that.

I'm under the impression that we're kind of stuck and fricked.

Gotcha

And I do agree. But maybe where we differ is IMO that is THE reason why we should go out and get Trae Young. We're stuck, so swing for the fences. Take the high risk but if everything goes perfectly, also gives you the highest reward. Is that reward a title? I don't know, probably not...but it seems like it's the highest upside move we can make, I don't see where a realistic top 20 dude is coming to New Orleans any time soon.

we have way too many positive assets to be fricked.
We can beat just about any trade offer for any player out there if we wanted to.

We have zero bad contracts, all our 1st round picks and more, young players who are good in Herb, Trey, Dyson, Hawkins, and a top 30ish player that teams are going to want to trade for this offseason, not too mention a veteran who's still playing like one of the best 3 point shooters in the league.

No we aren't stuck in any way. We have options to do whatever we want.
