August 29.

Seems to be a nice round date in annals of history of pretty historic significance.

Mother Nature may blow them down for you on that date.

Bunch like that on the course over here (minutes from you) that are getting worse. Isn’t that from drought?

Don’t you have a pool, or a pond?

But, anyway yeah. Minutes away.

Widow Makers.

Take an arrow with a nylon string and shoot over them, Use the string to pull a rope over them. them pull them down with your truck, or hire a tree guy or power company lineman with climbing spikes to climb and cut them for maybe a thousand dollars.

Yes, they are a pain in the butt. I have shot them with a 22 jacketed rounds and had minimal luck breaking enough that the finish breaking and fall. Not in a neighborhood or inside the city limits though.

Be thankful they are still alive….60% of the pine trees are dead from the drought and resulting pine beetles from last summer.

Is it pine bark beetle damage? If so, and you want to keep some trees, there are treatments to kill the beetles before they kill the trees.
