You're right.
These little places like to make examples, and this will turn into a money extortion event.
Illegal drugs in unfriendly country aren't the same thing as 3 rounds of small-arms ammunition.

I can't argue that. You're right.
But rules are rules regardless. A little personal responsibility is not too much to ask in this situation.
