Sorry but I refuse to get overly excited about 280lb DT that had 4 sacks in 2 years at a D-II School.

If he is half of that, it will be enough. LSU will still be stronger on the O side. They will also lean more on the run and short passing game. JD was amazing, but the quick scores did nothing for the defense.

Seems like it’s good shite.

Seems like wishful thinking. I just hope he can get 30% of the defensive snaps per game and does a solid job of clogging up the middle when he in the game...and hopefully a good push up the middle during passing downs.

I agree.

I think they call that complementary football.

heard he was way better than Warren Sapp and Aaron Donald.

I’m hearing that he has all the good qualities and none of the bad qualities of Chad Lavalais, Kyle Williams, Michael Brockers, and Bennie Logan.

So the guy we just got from GVS is the best defensive player in America? Awesome.

I remember Zy Alexander, last season. I hope he improves. He was good at times and bad at times..plays with a lot of emotion

Listen.

The comparisons to Dorsey are a joke but I did a little digging.

He was 6’ 1” 215 coming out of high school and played DE, OLB and running back.

LINK

He’s now 6’ 3” 295.

He chose us over Michigan Wisconsin Kentucky and FSU.

Since Dorsey was good enough to get a P5 scholarship out of high school, and Suggs wasn't, I'd say the comparison is bullshite from the start.

The Dorsey comparison is dumb, but so is this statement. Some kids develop late. DeMarcus Ware played for Auburn High School and had 1 scholarship offer, not from Auburn but from Troy State. He's in the NFL Hall of Fame.

Adam Thielen was D2
Brandon Williams was a pro bowler dt with the ravens from D2

I’m not saying we have an NFL star on our hands but he has the size and the offer sheet of someone who can provide us some solid snaps
