I would never give White the green light. He will swing at a ball. He is not a patient hitter. Just not good judgement on his part. A very selfish player ...

I am going off topic but the problem was not the pitchers. Why for 3 plus innings we could not hit an inexperienced softy lefty with a 88 mph fastball. With all the computer electronics all 1st base coach has to do is a search of snap throw by catcher. 1st base coach is there to guide player and help players.
