Any documented incidents of a male Lion ripping his own mane out so he can identify as a lioness?

It would be a pretty awesome troll job for someone to start some organization for the ethical euthanasia of homosexual animals "to ensure propagation of the species and reduce extinction."

I've never understood this particular "argument". It appears to be "see, it's natural because it happens in nature", but what does that buy you? Is the animal kingdom our model now?

Do people have any concept of the shite animals do to each other? Infanticide happens in nature. Cannibalism happens in nature. Ripping a non-threatening outsider limb from limb happens in nature.
