Like I said, plenty of places had these sort of laws on the books previously (Louisiana, I know made exceptions for Halloween and Mardi Gras
) and I don't know if they ever faced constitutional challenges, but they were still there as far as I'm aware. I'm not offering an opinion on them either way, but I don't know that they are explicitly "unconstitutional" either.

It's what should happen in all 50 states. No more excuses with COVID. Too many very bad people are taking advantage of this to do harm to others. Common sense folks.

I just hope that the protesters feels the full force of it so they will get a better understanding of the history they didnt study.

Wearing a mask in public has been against the law in many places for many years. It is typically a local law, designed to curtail Klan activity.
Auburn has such a law on the books and it was used a few years back when some antifa-types decided to come on campus to demonstrate against a speaker. The APD rather rudely removed them and their masks.

It was and still is illegal in Louisiana to wear one in public except on Halloween.
