What about people who are legitimately high risk like emphysema or lung cancer patients?

Unfortunately, I think you're right. To what extent, I'm not sure. We'll get a chance to see who are strong in their convictions and who will go along with more nonsense just because it's their team.

Never make a law that you don't one day want in the hands of your enemies.

So now the government won’t let me wear my fishing buff while on the lake? How bout they mind their own business and address the real issues.

This law is stupid and unconstitutional,

Like I said, plenty of places had these sort of laws on the books previously (Louisiana, I know made exceptions for Halloween and Mardi Gras ) and I don't know if they ever faced constitutional challenges, but they were still there as far as I'm aware.

I'm not offering an opinion on them either way, but I don't know that they are explicitly "unconstitutional" either.

It's what should happen in all 50 states. No more excuses with COVID. Too many very bad people are taking advantage of this to do harm to others. Common sense folks.

I love people’s freedom to wear a mask. Helps me know who to avoid.

I just hope that the protesters feels the full force of it so they will get a better understanding of the history they didnt study.

Yea, try walking into a bank in 2019 with a mask on and see how that works out

Wearing a mask in public has been against the law in many places for many years. It is typically a local law, designed to curtail Klan activity.

Auburn has such a law on the books and it was used a few years back when some antifa-types decided to come on campus to demonstrate against a speaker. The APD rather rudely removed them and their masks.

Wearing a mask is fricking idiotic and I severely judge and look down on anyone that does, but god damnit it shouldn’t be a government mandated matter, one way or the other.

Government will never fricking understand what free will means.

It's a damn slippery slope, but it needs to be looked into for people that actually have health complications for them to be protected with actually having to need the masks.

It was and still is illegal in Louisiana to wear one in public except on Halloween.
