Don’t forget her husband who was on a police force hacked into Krewe of Muses database to get information on the waiting list for that parade. Then she contacted those people to offer spots to ride in Nyx.

Yes, but the Krewe was gigantic and all the members turned their heads the other way until the All Lives Matter comment. Amazing that some simple comment is where they drew the line in the sand.

That got the attention but the reality is people left over the stealing and total clusterfrick the parade had become.

Very slippery slope.
If you’re in a riding Krewe in NOLA you should be concerned that rules are being unevenly applied because of feelz. There are equally as bad parades with similar infractions that weren’t canceled. This ruling is very subjective which means that if the mob doesn’t like something a krewe does (“oh look, I caught confederate beads! Gasp!) the city can come after your parade permit. Bad precedent being set here.

What you saw was what happens when women turn on each other. They had to pick a side or else face the wrath of their group of friends. Do this social experiment: find a woman with a close circle of friends and have her go against the whole group to see how quickly they attack and are ostracized. Maybe try women's reproductive rights

Of course it was. Government doesn’t do anything unless it benefits them or the individual beating his chest over it. They finally found the out to be able to take action on it and tell citizens “we got rid of the big bad anti-BLM wolf”

The rumors of her misusing krewe funds were absolutely true. Beads had to be bought specifically from a company involved with her husband. She took board members to Mexico numerous times for "meetings". The cash pool for drivers pulling floats.
The ALM comment set off a lot of people because Nyx was a diverse krewe that had a high number of women of color and wasn't labeled as a black krewe. If people weren't already on the fence, the certainly hopped over after that happened. No one wanted to be associated with a krewe that was led by a woman who was so publicly ignorant.
Now you can look her up and she offers classes that "empower women" as now considers herself a "LIFE & BIZ COACH."

Nyx was hemorrhaging a certain type of rider to Iris already and some to Cleopatra before that comment. That comment was just the straw that broke the camel's back for everyone else.
The past few years Wednesday has had way less attendance and Nyx can't even fill out floats. There are double decker floats with 1 rider on the top. Its a joke and there is really very little likelihood it was going to come back to any semblance of a decent parade.
