I gotta admit. I was in the camp of "let them get married." I didn't think it would be the slippery slope everyone predicted. Boy was I wrong. ...
re: How much is Todd Graves making from Canes
Posted by jbgleason on 5/31/24 at 5:55 pm
This hits home. One of my fraternity brothers owns 3.5% (OT joke built in) of Canes and he is rolling in Benjamin's. He got in early as as an investment partner. ...

It doesn't even show as "Shipped", I guess I should have said that in the OP.

WTH dude? I ordered a piece of US military surplus equipment from a U.S. based seller. China is nowhere in this thing unless they own Ebay or PayPal which I didn't know....
Who has been ripped off on Ebay and/or PayPal? Need some advice.
Posted by jbgleason on 5/31/24 at 12:09 pm
Bought an item on Ebay. Payed with PayPal. Item was $450 so this isn't some $9.95 deal I am chalking up as a loss.
It never arrived. I messaged the seller a couple of times with no answer.
Started a dispute with Ebay which included a mandatory waiting period for Seller to respond. Nothing unt...

I am an admitted LE supporter in alot cases but admit when the police frick up. (Boot Licker in OT parlance)
That admission aside, I am severely disappointed in Louisville PD here. They should have owned their screw up. Disciplined / fired the officer based on a review of the incident and his job...

He's running 12 miles a day a year after that accident in December? He broke something like 14 bones including his ankle and femur and half his ribs. I have my doubts.

Was there last week for work M-Fr. College town. Tons of restaurants and bars. Tons of high end apartment buildings. Lots of tech jobs. Good looking women all over the place.
Downtown is hood adjacent much like NOLA. I noted several groups of roving urban Yutes later in the evenings. Rale...

Went to Atomic Burger on Vets today. Walked up to lady at cash register and she said "I only do the drive thru" and then pointed at the touchscreen where you put in your own order. Of course, the people with me wanted certain things on their burgers and extra sauces. Neither of which are an optio...

Correct. Miles v Kilometers is part of the joke.
Their concept of distance is crazy though. The idea of driving a couple of hours is something people in the US don't think about. Some people commute that distance daily. Europeans would base a long weekend vacation around that travel. I am ...
