Time was running short on clock so they ram through a motion to work past midnight. The Speaker ignores all motions to discuss the tax plan and rams it through with the democrat majority. They gotta get that money to pay for their new illegals/constituents.

Sounds like “without representation” to me.

Until Americans get fed up, it’ll continue

Well, when you elect tyrants, don't get all indignant when you get tyranny.

Minnesota voted for this. You choose to live in the state.

What a crap hole Minneapolis/St Paul has turned into. The northern half of the state is beautiful.

This is more procedural than anything else. It's akin to "calling for the question" on the floor of the Louisiana House or Senate. The same thing was done by the Louisiana House in the 2023 Session.

Doing that effectively ends the debate and calls for a vote.

The question was called, debate ended, and the spending bills were passed.

2 friends one from Minnesota and the other from Pennsylvania both moved to south Mississippi because they were getting taxed to hell and back. The guy from Pennsylvania literally googled lowest taxes and by the water.

Also, both are not necessarily conservative but hate the progressives taking over and vote Red.

Leftists love tax increases. The leftists voted for this. The leftists can enjoy it.

Again class… how do make a leftist mad? You give them what they want continuously and in abundance.

Has there ever been a modern unarmed insurrection?

Yeah, didn’t think so.

The guy said they tried on January 6th so I was just asking him to clarify as his post certainly seems to say the people tried to fight back.

He should let us know if it is correct to take his comment as saying there was an insurrection. And, if there was not, just what exactly he did mean.
