I'm intrigued by the OTA antenna combined with Tivo and the mini boxes option. I'd only have to worry about coax to the main Tivo box and then get as many minis as I need and only need ethernet for those if I'm understanding correctly.
Anyone have a setup like that?
Although that seems like overkill for the few OTA channels I'd get.

I have an HDHomerun box that connects to my antenna coax. The HDHomerun has a cat5 connection that you connect to your router. Once you do that then any device connected to your network...I.e. Firestick, laptop...can access OTA channels. I have my KODI setup so I can watch OTA in KODI. To do this you have to download and setup WMC PVR (Windows Media Center PVR) on a computer running Windows Media Center and a client pvr on Kodi. I can record OTA shows through this setup too.
