There is an area north of downtown called Paseo Arts District which is a cool little area with spanish architecture and has a few good restaurants. Fridas is southwestern (New Mexicoish) , Picasso is farm to table, Paseo Grill is upscale american, Punk Burger and Sauced (pizza)....
They are known as Dino-bore Jr for their live shows. I love their albums but they aren't a good live band. I've seen them 3 or 4 times including back in the early 90s and its always been a disappointment....
Its at a shitty suburban venue in DFW so I'll pass. I saw L&R last year at a small venue and it was great....
I ran track and cross country in college so was putting in a lot of quality mileage. I was 6'-0" and 130 lbs, all legs and lungs....
