Snoring is usually caused by obesity. You like them plump huh?

My wife snores if she's had more than a couple of glasses of wine before bedtime. I try to fall asleep before she does, but I'm a heavy sleeper and don't hear it once I'm asleep. It'll keep me up if she falls asleep first.

Her parents sleep in separate bedrooms because her mom snores so loudly and her dad is a light sleeper.

She probably needs to lose some weight... if not, pics of wife to properly advise on how to tackle this snoring situation.

You do this and you gonna be in the other bed, so you might as well go there anyway and save her from flipping out when you push this agenda.

Good luck with the “encouraging”... it WILL NOT end well.

But if you’re happy. And she’s happy. And you both support and provide for your kids? Who gives a shite.

When you snore, 9/10 times it’s because your jaw relaxes and causes the “bind” in the throat/larynx... I used to snore a bit because I slept on my back. As soon as I got comfortable sleeping on my front/stomach, to prevent my jaw from slackening, the snoring stopped.

I’d suggest that before a gym membership.

This works for my husband. People snore more lying supine. She could also have sleep apnea which can be weight related. A sleep study would be the next step.

Mine talks in her sleep. Half the time in French and the other half in English.
