They'll probably move McCoy to guard. Warford regressed a lot last season, and they need a backup plan. They also need a backup for Peat or something. This is basically preparing for warford either way after his contract is over. Games are won in the trenches. See the playoff game against Minnesota last year.

We lost against Minny (both times) because our secondary sucks.

Armstead, McCoy, Ramczyk, Ruiz... the Saints are a top 5 offense year in year out and the line is a big reason for that

Easton also got big money to not play until everyone else was hurt.

Cushenberry is ranked higher than this fricking dude and actually proved it in big games. I’m not even being a homer and yes Cushenberry played guard too.

Why do so many of ya'll keep saying McCoy will go to G? He has NFL experience at C and played well, which usually takes a few years to get adjusted to. Gs can typically come in and play well right away. You keep McCoy at C and move the rookie to G.

The analysts said Ruiz was the top rated interior Olineman. It's not a bad pick. It just means the Saints will have to make some moves, Warford, to finish off the Oline.

I am still unhappy with Peat's contract, but that is what it is.

And we gave up 50 to San Fran cause our inside lb play was trash.

What’s the plan for this year when kiko and anzlone inevitably tear their ACLs this year?

We lost against the Vikings because of interior line play.

And they gave the most trash one of those interior linemen a massive contract

We could’ve traded into second round and had Cushenberry and Ruiz

No, it is because they could have traded back and got this kid. No where projected to be 24th pick

Only if you can make a deal.

This pick is t a reach. I just think we had options on the board that help us more.

McCoy is a stud. They’re not moving him.

I don’t like the pick either, but don’t be dense. He will play guard in the nfl

Really so we sign a guard to push who wafford or peat who you just paid? Gtfo this was stupid add tht nick easton was an up grade to peat in my opinion.

Not saying the guy is a scrub but if this was the plan you dont pay peat.

We could have a starter at LB Cb or wr and we essentially have a back up guard or center in a closing window for brees.
Even if the guy is great the front office fricked up by paying peat. Wafford isnt going to lose his spot to mc coy or ruiz so that means peat us the weak link
