The divorce will be much more pleasant for her then for him.
No doubt it’ll be unpleasant for both and especially the kids, but 5 years from now she’ll have moved on much more easily than he. Unemployed and divorcing the hottest woman he’ll ever touch, those are going to make for some rough days.

What happened to the basic rule of “being disqualified from the ministry” for adultery?
I’m sure Lentz will take a short sabbatical for a “season of healing” and be a pastor somewhere in a few years.
I thought Steven Furtick was the epitome of hipster douche pastor, but this Lentz guy takes that title.

I've never heard of either of those guys but playing the 'cool minister' role to me is hand in hand with being a douche. Especially when they seek out fame in the process.

Friend of mine worked part time at a church in Texas several years ago where a similar thing happened. The pastor started a church that met in peoples house and grew it into a mega church in a relatively short time. He was taking liberties with some of the women he was "counseling."
He stepped down and took a year or so off. He took over another church but it was much smaller.

Taking your money and living the life
So many fall for it
They do some good in the community to at least keep the charade going
Every church has it's issues but when I see these pastors and the life they are living outside of church with nice houses, cars, vacation trips, trophy wives and money to burn it makes me cringe.
