How is KO? That's a pour I haven't pulled the trigger on yet.

The first rye in 2017 was the home run. Everything else is a whiff and has gone up in price.

Took a day off. Blind of my favorite bourbons to start the new year. GTS is 2019 and the Willett is a 9 year.
Update: unsurprisingly this was the most enjoyable blind I've done. Willett won overall, coming in first on the nose and palate. I gave the edge to GTS over RR13 for the nose, but they were in reverse order for the palate. The RR13 had more complexity. I think the palate is more important than the nose so gave RR13 the tiebreaker for second.
It was also kind of pointless to run these blind as I was able to easily identify them based on the initial nosing. They are different flavor profiles, but similar quality imo. I wish I had more of all three.
Willett won my bourbon, rye, and finished bourbon blinds so I guess it's fair to say I'm a big fan.

Good evening baws, speaking of Smoke Wagon, going back to this one. This one overtook the 2 amburana finished whiskeys I tried last year as the most unique pour of the year (IMO).
