Cannot be understated the advantages Oschner gets in the healthcare arena or the influence said advantages on its potential policy. Dr Oschner killed his grandkid with a faulty vaccine that had already been tested to be faulty.

You don't have to read the article. He states it in the original post. It's just not in the title.

Let's not act like Oschner is some privately funded business. I'd bet that the vast majority of its income is from the gubment and that's who their marching orders come from.

If they're a non-profit, their financials and tax returns should be publicly available somewhere for you to confirm this.

They are. I can make it easy and send it over to him and he can enjoy his endeavors learning about their income.

I just Googled for him, and found the 2016 one. Private insurance/managed care revenue was double revenue from government agencies in both 2015 and 2016, and was by far the largest revenue source.

What’s your point? You proved mine by showing it’s a “not for profit” company who enjoys plenty of advantages over private practices.

The entire point is that it isn’t truly a “free market”

So stop using the free market excuse as some kind of gotcha

So as a small govt conservative you aren’t for an employers right to choose who they employ? You consider that a win for America?

Absolutely for the right for a business to choose who they employ within reasonable limits. Not for an employer just suddenly deciding how you treat yourself medically. They can't discriminate against race, sex, religion, etc. Should medical decisions of an individual that has no effect on the employer or other employees not be included in that? An employee's choice to receive or not receive a covid vaccine has the same effect on everyone else as their race, sex, and religion.

So what you are saying is I can get my buddy to sue the govt in a radical district challenging slavery and then while it is being litigated I can have some slaves? Sweet!

2016? Oschner has expanded substantially since then, including now operating the state’s public hospitals, including two state hospitals involved in this lawsuit.

Hospitals are one of the few places where an argument for a vaccine can be made

My hospital has mandated the flu shot every year for a few years now. Another major hospital system in AZ has mandated it almost 10 years now. So this is nothing new at all. Get a flu shot or exemption or you lose your job. As it should be in healthcare. Don’t like it….work elsewhere

Employers should have the right to make these mandates of their employees

Flu vaccine had been around since the 30s and mandates for healthcare workers didn’t start until the mid 80s. The vaccine had been around for 50 years prior to healthcare workers having to get it. Covid vaccine has obviously not been around long. I have it as a paramedic but I do not think people should lose their jobs over it, there’s good reason to be skeptical of a brand new vaccine

Covid vaccine has been the most researched vaccine ever in the history of vaccines though. But majority of this board has let their political beliefs and misguided conspiracy theories sway their decision on this sadly.
