Dog's name is Scooby, cause he's a brown dog that talks shite to me. When we got him, his previous name was Snoopy. He's a brown dog.

My new golden pup is "Malo". I named him after bayou St Malo where I used to fish with my dad since childhood.

King Kong is a pit/mastiff mix. Named because his full brother from previous litter is Frankenstein. It helps that King Kong is big and brown. Most common nickname is Bing or Bing Bong

Cane is a lab/pit/hound/something mix. Named Cane because he showed up at Cane Equipment one day His full name is Cane Joseph Equipment

I've named my dogs after my favorite Tarantino characters for some strange reason. Current mutt is Django, before him was Jules and a cat named Vincent. Next dog will either be named Hans, Aldo, Calvin, King Schultz, Donny, or Pei Mei

should've kept the braves thing going. Freddie would've been an awesome name for a beagle.

If we'd have stayed with the Braves thing, the next name was going to be Maddux.

I think the names are fitting.
Isabell - 15 year old Dorkie

Rebecca - 6 year old Dorkie. Daughter of Isabell

Then there's Nene (KNEE-KNEE). She thinks she's a dog.

Oldest dog I kept her name from the shelter. Ellie.
Second dog. Pete's dragon has come out again and the kids named him Elliot even though that's really close to other dogs name.
Third dog daughters banned Charlie. He's a Charlie dog so it fits.

For my chihuahua it was just on a list of dogs names and I liked it.

For the other dog, I'm fairly certain a poster here named her.

My dog is named Jay Barker because I'm a Bama fan and he barks all the time. He also sucks at throwing a football and didn't have sex until he was 28 (in dog years).

“Rio”, our late schnoodle was named that for 2 reasons. 1) The animal shelter where we adopted him from said he was found lost wandering along a dry riverbed in Texas. 2) Flew Tomcats at the time - and every f14 pilot needed a faithful “RIO” (Radar Intercept Officer”). Rio was a great dog - lasted 16 years before he finally got “dogzheimer’s” and eventually had to be put down...

His name was Sawyer. We named him after watching LOST. He was the greatest dog ever (Golden) and we said goodbye on the 16th this month. Still hard as Shite on the family.

Our 12-week old golden retriever's name is Ricky.

Named after a character Ricky Baker in Hunt for the Wilderpeople, which is a favorite movie in our house.

Liking the name so far.

Our first dog we adopted is named Auri after the character in Name of the Wind.

Our other dog is named Auggie. Started very briefly as Gogmagog.

I thought I was being clever, I named him '5 Miles' so I could say I walked 5 miles this morning. But then I started getting in good shape and stepped up my routine. That's when I ran over 5 Miles.

Good luck keeping up with that pup. You need to be relentless, like the Terminator.
