What is everyone using between the driver and 5iron? Are you using a 3W and 5hy?

I have a 3hy and 5hy, but thinking about switching the 3 to a 3FW. Looking for suggestions.

I recently switched to a 4 wood/7 wood combo and absolutely love it. My miss is left, so the hybrid just exacerbates that problem. The 16.5 degree is so much easier to hit off the turf than the standard 15 degree 3 wood and I barely sacrificed any distance. Highly recommend for drawers of the golf ball.

Usually a chunked 5 wood that goes about 30 yards

In all seriousness I like my 5 wood. When I take months off I struggle off the deck with my woods- but when all is going well it's my go to for a 240 yard shot

3w
4Hy
5i

I set my bag up to the courses I play rather than “perfect gapping.” The above set up allows me a extra wedge with I’d much rather have.

Sim2 Titanium 5 wood adjusted to more of a 4 wood loft, 16.5*
Sim2 7 wood 21*
Callaway Rogue 9 wood- 24*

My 5 iron and 9 wood carry about the same, 195 yards but I hit my 9 wood much higher so it doesn't have as much rollout which is good if I'm trying to hit and stick the green. It's the same reason I use my 7 wood instead of my 4 iron, I don't it the lower lofted irons high enough.

Getting a new T505 1-iron this week. Just not reliable enough with the 5-wood, and I’ve always hit a 1-iron pretty well. Tried to go with the 5w for a few years and it’s just not working out

My setup as well. Torn on adding higher lofted 4 hybrid or a driving iron. I have too big of a gap in between my 3H (250 yards) and my 4i (215). But that would put a 15th club in my bag.

3 wood 15°
Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi 3 iron 19°
4 iron

Course I mostly play has alot of holes where a driving iron off the tee goes the perfect distance and easier to keep in play.

I don’t hit it very far.

So Driver, 15 degree 3 wood, 21 degree 5 wood, 24 degree 7 wood for me.

I wonder if I’d be better off with
16.5 3 wood?

I notice all the lofts keep getting stronger on the fairway woods by all manufacturers.
