Been having some tendonitis in my knee and need to take a break from my traditional cardio stuff. A friend suggested walking in the pool at our gym (indoor lap pool).

Read a few things on it and it sounds like the water resistance provides a solid SSS cardio workout.

Has anyone tried this and what type of time (30, 45 min etc) did you do it for ?

Haven’t done it for exercise, but it seems like a good idea.

Place I used to swim had a pool treadmill you could walk on. I'm sure you can get the same benefit from walking in the pool. Can you swim? Swimming is a great cardio workout.

When I had my third hip surgery, my physical therapist suggested I do some of my PT in a pool. It felt great and I always left feeling like I had done a full cardio workout. The only downfall (if you can call it that) was it always made me super hungry and tired afterward.

Jogging in the pool would be even better.
