Keeping JD and Denbrock out of it, but watching A&M games with Max starting, he’s an awful QB. Downright terrible.

He threw for 2800 yards, 27 TDs and 6 INTs last year at LSU.

Jake Peetz is the man.

Not really serious, but it kind of is impressive what he did with Max Johnson considering how awful he is.

I always said Peetz was far better than renters gave him credit although they're calling for a coach's head after a single interception.

A competent QB makes an OC look great. We’ve been saddled up with below average QB play this year and last.

Peetz as a PGC would be workable but he had zero idea how to develop or call a running game.

And yet TDP still ran for over 1000 yards.

Time to rock some worlds but Canada was good too. Some people here were conditioned to blame everyone except Orgeron.

Jimbo’s offense is horribly outdated. No QB’s can thrive in it. That’s why no matter how much money they spend A&M will have a ceiling on their success

Peetz was terrible. Max isn't an awful QB, but he regressed last year. He's just an average QB and holds the ball too long. Max's numbers this year are basically the same as last year averaged out for a season. He protects the ball, manages the game, but isn't a game changer. Jimbo's offense has sucked since he left FSU. Offensive game has passed Jimbo by.

287 came in one game running one play. Inexplicably the opposing D coordinator never figured out how to stop it

TDP was a good back, but Florida was more dysfunctional than us last year. They gave up 52 to Samford. There is a reason Mullen got canned.

Perez wasn’t a very good play caller but his system (or his version of Brady’s system) was pretty good and the play design was good.

Did y'all forget that he ran the exact same running play every time for weeks.

When O neutered Peetz and an analyst took over the run game

Peetz actually did a great job with his script for the first few drives, it was just always fall apart after that. I did the math after like week 6, almost 70% of Johnson’s production came on the first 20ish plays of the game.

This seems ludicrous. I actually looked it up to see if it was correct. Mind blown.

Peetz issues were in game. He did a good job of preparation leading up to the game. Think that’s one of the things about being a first time OC.
