Guidry should be pitching only and developing other pitches.

Y’all were ready to off JT when he went in a slump in the CWS, Guidry hasn’t even hit college pitching. If you think he’s going to rake his first season, re adjust your expectations. It takes some time for the game to slow down.

Look at Kling and Jones

Both hit better than Thompson. What are you trying to get at?

He had 63 hits each of the last two seasons. You bat 230+ times and play every game and see if you can get 60 plus hits and double digit bombs.

Explain why?

It would probably be funny to hear the thoughts of someone that doesn't realize LSU never makes it to the CWS this year without Thompson's contributions. Did you watch the regular season games or just the ones in Omaha?

With him you have two returning starters to next years infield with him and Tanks. Without him Tanks is the only guy with a year of experience. Thompson put in the work and got better this year. I wouldn't mind seeing what he could become with another year.

You're not really helping his case.
