Not looking good for LSU. I would think we need to win all three series. Go
6-3 and have a decent showing in the SECT. Still early, starts Friday night! Kick the Faggies a$$! Lets GEAUX! Post season w/o LSU will suck.

They are clueless. No way Dallas Baptist is hosting.

If we won our last three series, we'd get in. That would make 5 straight SEC series wins, 2 against ranked teams, 1 being the #1 team in the country, and at minimum a 13-17 SEC record. Our RPI would be in the 20s too if we finish that well. The SECT wouldn't matter in that scenario.

Our resume was way worse than the above hypothetical in 2021 and we went 0-1 in the SECT.

I'm sure some will disagree, but LSU's postseason fate will likely be determined by these next two weekends. That projection has 10 SEC teams in the tournament. The SEC is the best league in the country. Without question. But getting 11 teams into the tournament is a BIG stretch.

If they somehow can take 2/3 vs A&M and Alabama, they should be in pretty good shape going into the final weekend of the season. Go 3-3 during these next 6 SEC games and they will still probably have some work to do/need a bit of help, but a regional spot is possible.

Go 2-4 or worse in these next two series and you can probably make other plans during the first round of the NCAA Tournament because you won't have to watch LSU play.

They have before and have a better resume this year than they did last time they hosted. Indiana St and Coastal hosted last year. Georgia Southern hosted in 2022. Stetson hosted in 2018. UC Santa Barbara, Dallas Baptist. and Missouri St hosted in 2015. DBU has a really nice program and facility. If they finish strong and inside the top 16 in the RPI (they are now), wouldn't shock me at all for them to host

If they win 2 each against Alabama, Ole Miss, and A&M, that would give them a total of 9 and put them at 9-12 against Q1 teams. That would not be bad at all. They pretty much have no choice. They either win those games or they don't. There is no other path to make the NCAAT outside of winning the SECT

No they would be 9-15 Q1 record if that happened

I don't know well enough to talk about this with authority, but I think 13 wins is the magic number. I'm pretty sure Alabama got in a few years ago with 12 wins in the SEC but left out the following year with 12 wins. Musso keeps saying LSU needs 11 conference wins plus 2 wins in the tourney; I think that is a bit optimistic. LSU is only 2 games behind Bama and Florida in SEC play; they are #14 & 18 RPI while LSU is #44. Ole Miss's RPI is 27. If LSU wins 7 of the last 10 games (6 SEC plus NSU), our RPI should move up enough to lock in a spot. Finishing 5-4 in the SEC with a couple of wins in the tourney might be enough, but I'm not putting any money on that.

We have a better chance of getting run ruled all three games this weekend than we do winning the series.

Will not make it... JJ toyed around too much with the lineup and with the pitching staff... no consistency. Obviously, some guys thought they should be playing more! Transfers and newcomers pretty much flopped this year and provided no help. Taking phones away indicative of some disciplinary problem(s). This team was never a "team" this season. We can all speculate, but only JJ knows why this team failed to achieve. Rests solely on him as the coach. Maybe next year???

Once they factor in our Jello shot record, LSU is a shoe-in.
