I assume it’s the championship belt guy…..He’s been at every big LSU event the last 5 years. Somebody is bank rolling him

If someone is bank rolling him, I wish they’d give those funds to NIL instead of someone acting like a jackass just to get on TV

I would say that the majority of people on this site are just as passionate about LSU. Doesn’t mean you have to be loud and obnoxious about it. You can cheer for your team without ruining everyone else’s experience.

I bet you also complain that the atmosphere in Tiger Stadium “isn’t what it used to be”.

I like the guy. Has more energy than the entire stadium. Entertaining as well. Downvote!

I know this is tongue-in-cheek, but if he’s such a big LSU fan, why doesn’t he try to grab an always-empty seat behind the plate at the Box? Because he knows they’d kick his arse out immediately.

Because he became an LSU fan when his sister played softball at LSU.
Most diehard fans of either sport can't make many games of the other.
That part actually makes sense.

He’s obnoxious, but who gives a shite? If you’re triggered by that guy you don’t have much going on in your life.

LOL. He’s become an unofficial mascot. If not LSU, someone is paying for his fandom and support. He’s at everything now.

I don’t watch the games if he’s behind home plate. Go down the foul line if you wanna do that shite. Not right behind home plate where the everyone watching has to see your ignorant arse.

They definitely are. My buddy was so fed up with him during last years regional against UL and he ran into him in Seattle when the the Cajuns played Washington. He asked him what his deal was, and the guy basically admitted he’s being paid to be out there.

Cheering for your team is great. But he makes it about himself by jumping up and flailing his arms. He blocks the other fans who sit behind him. I saw him at last years College World Series Championship game. When Tre made his great play at home, he blocked the view of the fans behind him. Imagine paying to go to THAT game, and miss THAT PLAY.

Why would you let a complete stranger affect you this much?

So how does Guillot get away with his schtick?

Is he on the field blocking your view? He has a ticket just like everyone in the park. If you are upset about his brand of support, buy a ticket and complain to the ushers. If not, you are less of a fan than him because he put his money up. Remember, you are only as big as the smallest thing that annoys you...So lighten up Francis.

That won't happen... two of them told me they were scared of him.

He's real close to my seats and I complained to LSU and they won't do anything. He tried to go fight the family of one of the coaches... LSU did nothing.

When I was donating money, they would call me anytime they needed something. When I asked if they condoned his behavior ... crickets. So no more donations.

All those old guard baseball folks who swear he will never sit behind the plate at Alex Box... where were they when he planted himself behind home plate at Omaha?

Usually when I post, he somehow gets on my Facebook and threatens me.

The "Dam Hood Rat" you refer to is DeAngelo Sanchez from Georgia. His sister Shemiah Shanchez played for LSU. She suffered with Lupus at 14 and fought her way back to play softball at LSU.

In 2022 she was put on a list for a kidney transplant and have no idea if she ever found one.
