If by “ages” you mean since 2021, and 2020 before that,

..and if by “deficit” you mean the net revenue after the LSU athletic department transferred $5.2 million back to the university,

..and if you choose to ignore the fact that the budget doesn’t need to balance every single year,

..and if you choose to ignore that LSU is about to start receiving an additional $17 million each year in TV revenue from the ESPN deal,

..and if you think LSU is footing the entire bill for a new arena (despite their very clear intentions to have a private partner pay for the majority of the cost),

..then sure, you’re right!
