re: Pitching this year vs last year
We lost essentially every game 3 all year. If we lose tomorrow, there is an extremely small chance we claw back. We don’t have Little this weekend either.
I actually feel better about our chances in a game 4 than a game 3. Especially if we are playing from the winner’s bracket. I thi...
Never seen a hitter that small hit with that much power, especially this young. The kid is something.
He’s hitting his stride at the perfect time too. 3 HRs the last 3 games for a guy who had 6 the entire regular season. ...

Herring has serial killer eyes when he’s in his zone....
Half a mile from an elementary school. If we have to have these chemical plants, that insist on thrusting their business costs onto others, at least there should be a large safe zone.
The plant has been there for 65 years....
I thought this was more they will be shutdown in the years to come so their response would be, let’s shutdown now then. See the heads spin and backtrack, well you can’t do it tomorrow.
From what I’ve read, the EPA used a provision of the Clean Air Act that allows them to take drastic...
The reality is—If Denka shuts down, DuPont will 100% go down with the ship as well. Not sure the media and community realize this. The loss of jobs would be double what they think it would be.
Is that because of feedstock coming from Denka or something?...
Remember driving to Port Allen on Sundays and getting whip its. Anyone remember the name of that place? Pretty sure it was an adult store. Good times.
The aptly named “Adult Video.”...
They'll definitely see a decrease because of property taxes going to the SG school district. But they annexed a huge chunk of SGs commercial tax base in 2016. Of course I'm sure they completely pissed all that new revenue away. They basically centered their funding around people in SG payi...
The OT is a bit two faced on this issue. On one hand, Bogalusa's main problem, before it became a crime infested shithole with a Marxist for a mayor, was the papermill. Now it's both. Considering Bogalusa's proximity to St Tammany, how much better off would Bogalusa have been if they told the...
Just think how petty and vile these people are that they're willing to sacrifice the people they claim to care about just to play the victim in the SG saga.
Is EBRPSS even going to see a funding decrease as a result of the St. George sage? Serious question. Not sure anything from the...
was the school built before the plant? google earth shows the plant there in '85, but it doesn't appear the school was there. although it could've been and the building(s) were just smaller
Plant was built around 1960 by DuPont. Denka took over the neoprene division a few years ago....
The cornerstone of the cancer alley issue is race based. Though the technical term used is Environmental Justice.
It’s dumb. These plants were built in areas with river access, rail access, and low population density. The fact that the relatively few people living in these areas are ...
Somebody asked him a NIL question. Look at the way that's worded.
Right. Big difference with that answer to an NIL question vs. a general question about how he’s making his decision. ...

To me the bigger question is going to be who we bring in for relief in games 1/2. If we can save Herring for Sunday I’d feel a hell of a lot better. Feels like that could be tough though, especially with Little’s injury....
Might not be a popular opinion, but I kind of respect the guy for addressing the $80 pants head-on. I’ve been on the side of Scheffler throughout this thing. That being said, I do think mistakes were probably made by both Scottie and the cop. The thing that struck me as most egregious in al...
