Another stupid layout play by Central. When it’s your night, it’s your night.

Showing up to a road game 1 wearing white pinstripes should be an auto forfeit. Especially when the home team wears white pinstripes.

Like I said, no one here underestimated Central. Leo is a legend. You know they’re always going to be fundamentally sound and won’t beat themselves. They’re going to make you beat them. They’ve done a great job tonight as expected.

Ball game. 5-0 Central. Southern Miss commit Ace was very impressive with HR/double and wonderful on the mound.

Grayden Harris is the real deal. Central has come on strong at end of year. Grayden has put 3 solid playoff games together. He may not make it USM. His stock is going up with scouts right now.

Walker pretty much ran off Randy Sandifer. Randy is a good coach and cares for the players. I hated seeing it. He is now at CP helping out over there.

Jesuit will battle. If they were smart, they didn't waste pitching tonight.

Schmidt has k’d 11/16 batters. Why wouldn’t you just bunt everytime?

No when I faced an overwhelming future mlb pitcher our coach said “go take your hacks you won’t face anyone better”

Yeh that’s fun little league movie talk. You aren’t going to hit him

ETA: when Barbe faced Beau Jones of Destrehan back in the day Cecchini made every single hitter bat left handed and bunt. They still lost but he wasn’t going to let them just get mowed down
