Tech also dropped a foul pop up with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth with two outs and the next pitch NMSU hit a game tying grand slam.

NMSU field is at 3900 feet. The CUSA softball tournament will be held there.

Tech blows an 8-2 lead but still wins it in 11

They’ll play the series finale in 45 minutes. If the Bulldogs win, they’ll be C-USA Champions.

That 8th and 9th had me cussing up a storm, and I normally don't cuss. Thank God we pulled it out. It was beginning to look like a typical LATech late season collapse in historic fashion.

"My goodness our little state has a lot of colleges."

They should all be Juniòr Collleges, except LSU, Tulane, LA Tech, Grambling and Southern!

La Tech wins the CUSA regular-season title and climbs to No. 29 in the RPI. If they can keep on winning in the conference tourney, the Bulldogs suddenly look like a dark horse hosting candidate -- just need to keep boosting that RPI.

Tulane, #3 Seed in AAC Tournament, wins their opener on Tuesday night against FAU by the score of 14-2 (7).

The Green Wave will face #7 Seed Charlotte on Thursday. Charlotte beat the #2 Seed UTSA in their opener.

ECU is the big chalk to win the Tournament.
