I think mine is when Ricky Schroeder goes back to dressing room and sees Jon Voight laying on table dead in The Champ

Usually the scenes that choke me up arent the purely sad ones but the ones that are happy/sad.
So like Cinderella Man or the scene in John Q where his son flexes for him.

All of the full nude scenes that Kate Beckinsale has never done make me tear up every time.

I have never seen more solemn emotion in a theater than the ending of American Sniper.

Never really appreciated this scene until I lost my dad. Now it hits me every time.

Pretty much every Disney movie had at least one of those scenes, but for some reason, anything with an animal dying gets me.

Ironically I just posted about the movie, but the scenes in bohemian rhapsody when Freddie calls Mary Austin living next door were pretty sad.

No love when Howard the Duck had to go back to his planet?

For real though, i remember as a kid being heartbroken with E.T. has to go home and leave Elliot.
