Should they limit the all star rosters to one person from the team? You’ve got LeBoo and AD representing a shitty LA team? Two from clippers, two from suns, two from min, etc…. No one from the Pels or Kings is a travesty.

You’re just butt hurt Lebron made it.

Under your idea either Shaq or Kobe would have been an all star, but not both. Meanwhile the Clippers would get to send Jeff McInnis.

No, but they should expand the roster to 15 players

I’m not advocating for not having two people from one team. I’m simply asking the question.

Not rewarding anyone from the 6th seed team but having two represented from the 9th and one from the 10th is odd.

Shaq and Kobe would never be the 9th seed so your hypothetical is dumb.

Both AD and LeBron making it is absurd, if they are both truly top 12 players in the conference their team wouldn’t be 9th with as many games as they’ve played.

No, but solution is simple.
Change vote from Fans + Players + Media to: Fans + Players + Coaches.

Also, my solution is simple. I will watch exactly 0 minutes of events not involving one of our guys

Its a blackout for me too, media is a bit too self-serving and a lot don't watch games. At least coaches have to watch tape.

Fan voting is dumb as hell.

Should be no more than 25% of the vote, imo.

An alternative to your suggestion could be they require at least one player from the top 8 seeds on each side be part of the all-star teams

What has any Pelicans player shown this season to deserve a spot?

The fan vote is probably more of the reason why big market teams get people in that don’t deserve to.

Sabonis getting snubbed is a travesty.

The All-Star game is a travesty and almost as bad as the NFL Pro Bowl. Both are unwatchable, considering how competitive they used to be.

It’s nice to have your favorite player recognized, but it doesn’t come close to the clout one could get in the past by playing well against the cream of the crop. So it’s really not that big of a deal.

They've shown that they are better than the Lakers, who have 2 selections.

This is an extremely fair take.

I could see getting one player, but not two or more.
