Play-in or 1st round sweep is as far as we'll get with Willie at the helm. Sad thing is that's just good enough for ownership so he'll be stuck here for seasons to come.

To be fair, he has gone farther than this but not much.

He’s a symptom of the larger problem at hand, Griff hired him. Griff needs to go, which means Willie is gone as well

Look lot of people agree Griff should go but come on realistically do you honestly think they’re going to fire him???

Maybe ownership gets a wake up call when the fan base collapses. Fans want a contender, not a pretender.

Willie is a good man but yes has hit his ceiling as head coach. I think he did accomplish the main thing they hired him for at the time post SVG, mentor and culture for a team with some young and/or immature players, mainly Zion and BI.

Three years later, we got to a better place, but Willie has shown he can't match the next level as a head coach. We need to move on now

How were we going to win with Zion out and Ingram (and McCollum) playing like dog poo?

Green is not a good coach. But nobody is scheming victories when their stars don't show up. We never had a chance.

I agree that this maybe the ceiling. However, I think they are going to give him another year since he just signed an extension.

Goes higher than that Bro. Mrs. Benson is the one to look at. She looks at these men as her children in her family and won't pull the plug on them. She's a woman and is too emotionally attached.

Yeah Willie isn't good at X&Os, but my main knock is he doesn't instill the mentality needed to win in the clutch or beat the best. It's been that all year with or without Zion.

We choke under pressure, not surprising that players play like poo under the playoff pressure. The choking comes from softness, and our head coach is one of the sources of the softness, maybe the biggest one. He for sure doesn't bring a mentality that would counter it

They either have it or they don't. I had high schoolers show more resolve than some of these guys. BI showed his stripes when he couldn't take SVG's coaching style. Naji and Jose type mentallities need to be sought after this offseason.

Some people def have it more than others, but bring in whomever you want and they'll be held back some if subjugated to a leader who's soft.

We just need a more talented head coach all around

His biggest sin was letting the refs walk all over us. The game and series wasn't called even on both sides. We all saw it, and good guy willie green didn't work them at all. He's too soft to be an nba head coach

What has Griff done as a great gm?
Had Lebron handed to him no Brainerd any person would have picked him.
Didn't wun anything leborn left the cavs sucked again git Kyrie handed t o him no brainer.

Won a championship with (2) 1 overall picks
He did bring in k love. That's it he is nit a team builder he was just lucky the ping pong ball fell in their slot
