Homes in upper middle class neighborhoods going up for rent

Seems to be happening a lot in the Austin area, even in the suburbs. Nearly half the homes I save on Zillow sell and are up for rent a week later. You'll own nothing and be happy :wah:

Not a fan of the miles of tree-cleared lots with cookie cutter homes and gable roofs for as far as the eye can see. The job opportunities and good schools in North DFW can't be beat but it seems depressing....

Death penalty for the following would clean up the state:
1) Not returning the shopping cart to the cart corral.
2) Littering.

I'm not a fan of yard maintenance and live in area where townhomes aren't ghetto shitholes. A decent single detached house here are 500k+ while upgraded townhomes can be had for 100k less. The concern is they won't appreciate as much but it beats continuing to pay rent. What says the OT?...

Did it last year and regretted it. I'm in tech and the job market is absolute shite right now. People with 10+ years of experience are having trouble finding anything. Outside of healthcare, the white collar job market is rough with interest rates being so high. Wouldn't recommend quitting unless you...
