Did anyone else read the title as “turned away from porn” initially and do a double take

I think that's a weird hill to die on for a public school. Revealing things or inappropriate outfits yes, but literally half of the student body is wearing suits. This isn't promoting anything, some heterosexual or cis or whatever females prefer to wear pants to dresses or skirts. Why can't this student wear what she feels comfortable in? I do not agree with this for a public school, and for the record, I'm against pushing the trans-agenda.

Agree.
Embracing and approving of mental illness is ridiculous.

How does the supposed lawyer feel about someone agreeing to a private intuition's rules and then acting like a victim when they knowingly broke the rules they agreed to?

I actually said I wouldn't have an issue if this was a private school. I am a jewish guy who graduated from Rummel. I understand you sign up for different things when you agree to go to a private school.

But as a lawyer I can use google and find out it is a public charter school.

Question for you: do you tie your own shoes in the morning?

The student showed up to the dance where the dress code had been very meticulously conveyed. The school allowed the student to go home and get proper attire. The student declined that offer, yet you sit here and say that the school picked the fight. I wonder what lenses some of you view life through.

The dress code itself was dumb was my point.

Who really cares if a girl wants to wear slacks or a jacket instead of a dress?

To draw that as a line in the sand is asking for someone to line step so you can make a show of it.

How hard is slacks or jackets ok for all, gowns encouraged for young ladies even if you are a conservative institution that can be stricter

Good point, but the school’s website is pretty clear on it’s standards and requirements, and does not appear to be governed the same as other public schools.

“MCA desires to educate all students who enter our school, expecting nothing less than the best from each one. MCA is a fit for parents and students who wish to make a definite educational choice. Those students who will thrive at MCA are the ones who understand, and whose parents understand, the effort necessary to attain a classical education. Parents and students not in agreement with the mission, philosophy, and policies of the school may not be able to adhere to the stated policies of the school. In such cases, a different educational opportunity may be more appropriate.”
