Turn the plane sideways if you wanna look forward!
That is the one thing that totally bugged the hell out of me when I was a kid and would look at the Spirit of St Louis in photographs in Dad's old books. Drove me NUTS figuring out how the hell he could take off and land if he couldn't see forward.

“Tables for ladies” is written on the cafe windows. That’s a little odd.

Hair is too neat.
She's got that "I'm about to GF" look though.

May of 1990 I graduated from LSU. They moved the ceremony from the PMAC to Tiger Stadium. Our commencement speaker was some old guy and former governor of California. Each graduate was given four tickets for family/friends. I used three of them and I still have the other one in a box somewhere.
Strangely enough, my fiancé (now wife of 34 years) had graduated from LSU in May of 1989. Her commencement speaker was the governor of Arkansas.
I graduated in December of 1989. We had no guest speaker: it was great not to listen to some politician bloviate.
I attended the May 89 graduation and remember thinking that Bill Clinton was really boring.
The May 90 graduation day was the day I had to start traveling to my first Air Force assignment. I liked Reagan, but I was okay with that.

I didn't see the speech, but I did shake his hand in the Union afterward.

The extended Griesedieck family had Griesedieck Bros., Falstaff, and Stag. Stag is the only one left standing thanks to the country Germans who drink it because it is cheap.

And FWIW seeing DQ in an arena I realized he came across much better that way than close up, due to his eyes giving a zombie vibe on TV (bad contacts?)
